Welcome to WISER, UMass Boston's web-based, self service system, where students, faculty and staff can access information and utilize online features to help make the student experience a positive and rewarding one.

With this system, students can update and maintain their personal, academic and financial information at the University. Faculty can search the Course Catalog and Schedule of Classes, access class rosters and permission numbers, enter grades, and view and print degree audits for advising purposes. Staff can access a variety of features that support both students and faculty in their use of the system. Students, faculty and staff can select the appropriate link below to access the system. Likewise, other members of the University community, and those just interested in what UMass Boston has to offer, can sign in as a Guest to view course information.

Term codes and Dates for upcoming activities:
The term code for Spring Semester 2009 is 1830.
The term code for Winter Session 2009 is 1820.
Add / Drop for Spring Semester ends February 2, 2009.
Registration for the Fall 2009 Semester (term code = 1910)
will begin on April 6, 2009.

USER ID: If you are just starting out with WISER, and do not know your Self Service ID, you can Look Up Your User ID to find that information or get help with getting one.

WISER PASSWORD - 1ST-TIME USERS: This document provides instructions for students and faculty who have never logged on to WISER.

PASSWORD RESETS: If you are having problems logging on to WISER and your password needs to be reset, this is done by the IT Service Desk staff. Contact the IT Service Desk (formerly known as Helpdesk) at 617-287-5220, or send an email to ITservicedesk@umb.edu, or visit the IT Service Desk on the third floor of the Healey Library on campus (mail drop: 090-03-007).
